What To Do In Arizona

As a native of this beautiful desert that over six MILLION people also call home, I am almost ashamed to admit I have not heard of at least a handful of some of these places! (Bearizona???) I feel like I have been living under a rock. With that said, I am now on the hunt for some great places to check out this summer with my family.

From the northern country where we can enjoy cooler temperatures while the valley bakes in the 110+ degree heat, to enjoying the sights of the speleothems which have been growing for 50,000 years or longer, and are still growing, at Kartchner’s Caverns in Southern Arizona.

I found a great website jam-packed with great information on all kinds of events, destinations, etc… that Arizona has to offer.

But first, to kick off this “I Love Arizona” blog, here’s a cool video done by National Geographic of a flight over the Grand Canyon. Breathtaking!

PS: Did you know the Grand Canyon was one of the FIRST National State Parks to open in the U.S.? And that it attracts about five million visitors per year? Let me do the math for you just to blow your mind even more – that’s over 416,000 people per month! Wowzers, right?

As a third generation real estate agent and native of Arizona, I am passionate about helping you and your loved ones achieve your real estate goals. If you are buying or selling in Gilbert or any of the East Valley cities, trust that I will go the extra mile to ensure a smooth and successful transaction.
