10/18-26: Charming Pony Parties Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch
Charming Pony Parties welcomes fall with a two-weekend festival that’s great for princesses and pirates. Admission includes the pumpkin patch, hay maze and petting zoo, plus a ticket for one activity such as hay rides, a bounce zone or the castle play area. Additional tickets can be purchase for $5 each or 3 tickets for $10. Concessions available while supplies last.

10/23-26: The Great Pumpkin Festival
Enjoy an old-fashioned Midwestern pumpkin festival at the Desert Botanical Garden. The four-day fest will feature a hayride to the pumpkin patch, where kids 12 or younger can pick a free pumpkin. The fun will include a arts and crafts, a hay-bale maze and farm-animal petting zoo, as well as live country music and carnival games.

10/11: Pumpkin Patch
First Christian Church offers holiday pumpkins and fun for families. Attractions include hay bales, wagons, photo opportunities and a selection of more than 1,000 pumpkins and other gourds. Proceeds support church outreach programs.

10/11-31: Pumpkin Patch
Mission Bell United Methodist Church will sell pumpkins daily from Oct. 11 through Oct. 31 for the fall season and Halloween. Bring on the Holidays Arts and Crafts show is Saturday, Oct. 25, with artwork and craft items, baked goods, candies, greeting cards, jewelry, woodworking, jellies and crocheted pieces. Proceeds benefit the missions of the church.

Take a mule- or horse-drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch to select a gourd to take home and carve. Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks are available for purchase at Maneau’s Munchies. Be there at noon Saturday, Oct. 4, for the pumpkin weigh-off. Adult admission includes the hayride.

Attractions include train and hayrides, a corn maze, petting zoo, farm-themed merry-go-round, live animal performances, polka and Western dancing, and face painting. You-pick and pre-picked pumpkins will be available, as will pink pumpkins in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (a portion of sales will go to the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation to fight breast cancer). Food and drink, sweet corn, winter squash and gourds will be available for purchase.

You’ll have quite a time navigating your way through this year’s 25-acre corn maze. You’ll also find 15 acres of U-pick pumpkins; pony, carriage, hay and trail rides; face painting; an obstacle course; calf rides; food and craft vendors; and a corn bath that lets kids bury themselves in seed corn. Join in the free barn dance 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday nights. Check the schedule for additional events, including a tractor pull.

9/27-10/26: Fall Pumpkin Celebration
Apple Annie’s Orchard has more than apples at this fall celebration. Choose your own pumpkins of multiple shapes and colors from the patch or pick one up at the pumpkin stand. The whole family can test out three levels of difficulty in the corn maze and enjoy a hay ride. A pancake breakfast is available from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and a burger lunch is served from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Experience your corn maze three different ways at the Willis Farm: regular, haunted and laser. On Saturdays nights, the maze becomes “The Carnival of Chaos,” a fright fest not suitable for small children. OR try a game of laser tag in the maze, call for appointment times. The farm’s “Pick-a-Punkin” patch opens Oct. 1. Pumpkins are 30 cents per pound.

Don’t miss the 11 acre corn maze which is open in daylight during the pumpkin fest, but turns darker and scarier at night.
